Why did you decide to be EVS? What was the reason? Why CZ?

I decided to do EVS to have the chance of being an idealist while working, not for money, but for something bigger. Prague was my second choice, since I fell in love by the city in a warm night of August on Karlov Most in 2001.

What did you do before EVS?

Before EVS, I was finishing my Bsc in Biochemistry in Coimbra, doing research on Neuroscience and, also, working as a tour guide in an interactive science centre.

What was project about?

My project involves group work: group EVS and independent voluntary task forces.

What was your first impression in first few days in your project?

I was still not myself, trying to understand my place in the group and what could I do.
What was the biggest surprise for you?

The growing empathy and craziness that we happens while working.
Did you have any problems during EVS?

Yes, in terms of working methodology.
What you like or dislike?

I love the flexibility and will to change the world little by little.

Does EVS change your life?

Of course!

What will you suggest to youth who would like to do EVS?

Don’t think more if you made your decision. The World is ours to transform!
