Can I go to a workcamp with a friend? Certainly you can. The rule is that there can only be maximum two persons from the same nationality. I case you want to go with someone else, please indicate it in the “special wishes” box.Detailed info: its enough to express the will of going with a friend and write his/her name on the box. Your friend should do the same, to make the process easier. As we send the application of both at the same time, so the chances of a positive answer are higher, it would be appropriate, if possible, to pay the advance fee simultaneously.

Can I go to a workcamp when I am yet 18? SCI its not offering camps for people under 18 (still to be confirmed) but some of our partners around the Europe occasionally do, All the information will be updated on the www.trochujinak.cz web page. Detailed info: Excluded the possibility of abroad workcamps, there is always the possibility to apply for a Czech workcamp. There are also possible meet volunteers from all over the world, to practice a foreign language (even two!) and it’s the perfect experience maybe for an abroad workcamp. Besides al this, the fee it’s cheaper (more information on the “How much” menu), and as well the trip is way cheaper :). Actual offer and detailed information you can find HERE.

Can I go to more than one workcamp in a season (from Spring to Autumn)?

Yes, you can go on how much workcamps you want, it depends only on you :) For each new workcamp is necessary to submit a new application, the procedure works as the first one. Detailed info: For the first workcamp there is a total fee of 1800Kč (1500Kč if student, 1000Kč if Duha member), for the second and next workcamps you pay only half of the full administrative fee (900Kč students and non students). How do I prove I am student, so I get the discount? You have two options:

- Scan on take a photo of both sides of your card and send it by mail in attachment

- Come directly to Duha’s office and show it, on the visit time: From Tuesday to Thursday from 14 to 17. I, for some reason its not possible for you, just let us now on the outgoing@duha.cz and we easily find a suitable time :)

What does “confirm the participation” means?

How and where can I find details of the workcamps, to which I am accepted?

Hosting Organization always creates a document, which called Infosheet one month before the start of workcamps. There is detailed information about the program, accommodation, meals, transportation and other organizational matters. Infosheet is sent as soon as it is ready.

I don’t want to go abroad. What are the possibilities to go to a Czech workcamp?

Czech workcamps have their charm. Also there will be gather volunteers from all over the world, they speak English and it is an ideal experience necessary for future workcamps abroad.

Actual offer of DUHA‘s workcamps and all details can be found in here. If you would like to take part in the workcamp, organized by other association, just choose Czech Republic in general database.  Further action is no different. Complet the application form and send to our email. Pay a deposit (workcamps in Bohemia are cheaper than international) – the fee is CZK 1,000.
