Quite a different way to pass the weekend

Looking for an opportunity to meet Czech and European volunteers?

To spend a weekend helping an NGO somewhere in the Czech Republic? Come for a Tamjdem! Usually we are about 15: you can expect a random get-together of EVS volunteers, outgoing Czechs, Tamjdem veterans as well as newcomers.

Why do it? To help with what we can, discover NGOs and the extraordinary people who are running them, face other realities, get together, have fun and spend one weekend a month in an active way..! As well as to test our abilities as organizers, since most of the weekends are the work of people who have come for an earlier Tamjdem.

We usually set off on Friday, work the whole of Saturday, party in the night and do workshops or plan future weekends on Sunday.

Where have we been so far? We have more than ten weekends behind us, with Člověk v Tísni, Modrý dům in Kostelecké Horky, Villanova or Unijazz. We have organised fun days with kids, worked in ecocentres, youth clubs and theatre festivals.
